Gallery Notes

Still lifes and landscapes are not my principal pursuit in photography. I don’t have the patience to wait for hours, or to retake a certain view over and over again, until the light is just right. But when it is and I can get it with the wide-angle lens, or when I see a pattern or setting close up, I’ll take a shot at it.

Les natures mortes et les paysages ne représentent pas le but principal de mon travail photographique. Je n’ai pas la patience d’attendre des heures ou de reprendre à maintes reprises le même paysage pour trouver la lumière juste. Mais quand la lumière est bonne et mon objectif grand-angle me le permet, ou quand j’aperçois une forme de dessin ou un arrangement d’objets à main, j’essaye un coup.
